Hello WVFPD Residents,

At our last public meeting, Amy Sylvester from CSFD presented a new Fire
Mitigation Grant program sponsored by the Allstate Foundation. Under this
grant, Allstate will match a portion of your fire mitigation expenses - even
if you are NOT an Allstate customer. Here is a short list of rules to
qualify. It starts with a free onsite evaluation by the CSFD Fire
Mitigation team.

Although the first bullet states that it is intended for the first 30 feet
around your home, Amy said they will accommodate other areas as long as you
have already handled your house mitigation.

We have enough funding for 50 homes. So far, only 10 have signed up, so
there are still available funds. But don't wait too long. The funds may run
out or the program may expire.

If you have more questions, please contact Ashly from CSFD directly at
